Marketing for Small Business Focus of Upcoming NAWBO Silicon Valley Presentation

Linda Popky to Provide Marketing Tips to South County Audience in July

REDWOOD CITY, CA – June 25, 2007. L2M Associates, Inc. today announced that President Linda Popky will speak to the NAWBO Silicon Valley South County group on July 11th on Primed for Success: How Marketing in a Down Time Helps Business Turn Up.

The lunch presentation, to be held at Maurizio's in Morgan Hill, CA, will address why it's important for small businesses to proactively invest in marketing and promoting themselves, when business is slow, as well as when things are good. Attendees will learn why it’'s so important to plant marketing seeds when business is slow to be prepared for success in the future.

"Investing in marketing seems like a simple decision when things are going well, but is harder to justify when business is slow." said Linda Popky. "Yet that’s exactly the right time for many organizations to be ramping up their marketing campaigns."

Linda Popky has over 25 years' experience in technology and B2B marketing. She is the Director of Partnerships & Alliances for Women in Consulting (WIC), a member of the Society for the Advancement of Consulting (SAC), and an Associate Partner of Marketing Operations Partners. In demand as a speaker as well as the author of numerous articles on various aspects of marketing, Linda is currently on the faculty of the Integrated Marketing Program at San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning.
